Project Management Tutorial

A pivotal skill-set for working engineers in diverse technical fields today is “project management”. This workshop aims to give attendees a basic introduction to the tools and ideas of the practice of project management as it pertains to individuals engaged with the management of research, development, and design of products, equipment, processes, and related activities.

Registration for participation is required and printed materials/CDs for workshops will be provided for attendees free. Non-IEEE members are welcome to join, but will be charged a nominal fees of $5. Certificates for 3-hours PDHs (Professional Development Hours) can be provided upon request and attendance. Please make note of such request during registration and the certificates will be distributed a week after the workshop.

The Project Management Workshop is delivered by T. Lahdhiri, PhD, PE, PMP, SM-IEEE, and organized by IEEE-SEM Chapter X (Technology Management Council), which is interested in spread-heading knowledge on the management sciences and practices applicable to individuals engaged in or overseeing the management of engineering, technology, innovation, and strategy in a global environment.
